Step 1: The Assessment
When you become a Rare Air Fitness client, you go through a detailed, multi-part assessment that allows me to listen to your needs, learn about your lifestyle, discover what’s truly important to you, and work together to craft a program that fits both your lifestyle and your goals. Connecting “face to face” allows you and I to personalize the experience and have a real conversation. I understand the journey you’re about to go on, and use this time to, believe it or not, get to know you a little and answer any questions you may have. If we can't meet in person due to location, all you need is a free Skype, Google Hangouts or FaceTime account.
Step 2: The Program
Powered with information from the assessment process, I’ll write a 100% individualized program tailored to your needs, your lifestyle, and your goals. Depending on the package you select, this can include everything from a detailed nutrition plan, to habit tracking, to energy system development, to a video database that clearly illustrates how to perform each and every exercise you’re expected to perform. It’s my belief that your program should be as worry free and convenient as humanly possible, and I work to make that a reality. I want you to show up, pull out your routine, and go to work. No worrying about a particular exercise, or wondering if you’re doing the right amount of sets and reps at the appropriate tempo, that’s my job. You go to work, and I handle the rest.
Step 3: Mentorship
When you are accepted into one of my training programs, my role extends far beyond the assessment and program—it’s my job to be your mentor as well. The role of the mentor in this process is vitally important for several reasons:
Having an experienced mentor means you’ll learn faster than if you attempted to do so on your own. I’ve been there before and can steer you in the right direction to avoid costly mistakes and setbacks.
I serve as an accountability system and ensure you’re progressing appropriately from stage to stage.
Much of the training process involves changing patterned behavior, which involves remapping the brain. This is no small task and requires methodical retraining under expert guidance. It’s all about changing one habit at a time, and I make sure that happens.
I truly believe this is one of the most important parts of your training experience and take it very seriously. I encourage open communication, video chats, question asking, form checks and the sort. I don’t want you to be a passive player blindly following a program, but an active participant who continues to grow both physically and mentally.
Fitness Coaching/Personal Training
Finding the perfect workout routine for your unique goals can be difficult, time consuming, and worrisome. With our personal training package we'll do all the work for you. We'll walk you through the assessment process and write all of your workouts so you don’t have to. All you have to do is show up and crush it—We'll handle the rest.
Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching
Your body type, hormonal profile, lifestyle, workout habits and goals are all unique to you, and your nutrition plan should be as well. Let me do the leg work and show you how to make your goals a reality. I'll show you what to eat, when to eat it and help you systematically develop lasting habits for lifelong results.
Training and performing at your best is tough enough with one sport to deal with and so much harder to manage with three. Let us handle everything for you from your training plan down to the nitty gritty details of your running form.
